A Weekend with Nana and Papa

We enjoyed last weekend with mom and Dennis. They came to watch the kids, while Ryan and I went to a friends wedding.
We also spent a day up in the mountains.
We finally got a few family pictures. I can't decide which one is my favorite.

The fall colors were beautiful, but they weren't quite at peak and a lot got knocked off with the snow the week before. Oh well, still a gorgeous time of year in the mountains.

Monkeys!

Nana and Papa with the kids.

The kids even got some fishing in.
Waiting, waiting, then "I don't really like fishing mom." Not really the right outdoor activity for my impatient children.

Although, Caitlin DID catch 3 crawdads...on her line. Who knew you could go fishing for crawdads.
Wrapped up the weekend with a little gaming.
Ryan's working interview is going really well so far. He still likes it and I think we're starting to get use to waking up at 5a.m. I'm still trying to get use to not having him around all day. I must say, I'm enjoying the quiet, but miss having my best friend to chat with, whenever I feel like it.

Great pictures, fun time! I would love to go back to the old mining towns...looks like my daughter is going to be a "morning person"...
Good Morning Sunshine!!! I'm glad that Ryan is liking the job! I'm in hopes it will all work out! You are always in my prayers...I love you and your sweet family!

What beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing them. Looks like several of them could be your Christmas photo.

Of course, I love them all, however, I think the 2nd one is one of my favorites...Ryan and Caleb are standing the same way, Caitlin has her hand on your head, and you look beautiful, as always...but I do agree with Liz..they would all make a great Christmas photo (maybe a collage)
Love you!
