I guess there were three. Unfortunately one little guy fell into the window well and we never saw him. I'm glad Ryan was around to take him out and bury him. Caitlin had a full blown funeral service for him and convinced papa to make a very nice cross for his grave. Oh my!

Remodel

Wow, it has been a very busy week. I know I still need to post Easter pictures, but I wanted to get this project up first.

Mom has been here for the past week and Dennis drove his van up last Saturday to do this project that has been looming over us. The previous owners did a special little remodel that gave us one big room, with one big closet, that use to be two. They also did a lovely remodel on the bathroom and got rid of the walk in closet that went to Caitlin's room. Yes, their work has NOT been appreciated. So, Dennis was nice enough to DRIVE all of his tools up and spend 5 solid days working on adding a door way to Caitlin's room and adding in two closets between the rooms. I'm loving it already and it hasn't even been done for a day. The kids FINALLY have their own rooms. Ahhh! It is SO nice. Dennis did an amazing job, especially since those lovely other people did a very "special" job on their little remodel. PEOPLE! I don't know what they were thinking!!!! So, here's what we ended up with.

Now Caleb has a regular sized closet. We will eventually take the 1/3 of the room closet out, but for now, I'm going to put his toys in there,

I think I got most of that lovely white Sheetrock dust, that coated everything, dusted up today. Now, I really don't have a good excuse not to paint these rooms. Four more rooms left and we've painted the entire interior. I'll be glad when that's ALL done!

Caleb was devastated that I wouldn't let him pick them up to cuddle. EEEK!

Some Randomness!

This is a random picture, from a few weeks ago. We enjoyed a very nice dinner with the kids. This is a rarity!

Playing on the ice. We were suppose to get a foot of snow...instead it rained, turned to ice and snowed an inch.

Chubby little robin in the snow. I just think they're cute!

Mom came for a quick visit and got her bed in the basement all set up. After we dropped her off at the airport, Caitlin said she wanted to sleep in the basement. I figured that would last about 5 minutes, but no, she was out. You better watch out Nana, Caitlin is going to take your "room" over!
